Our Policy: London Laugar is a friendly kung fu school with experienced and skilled instructors with many members past and present stretching back over 40 years. We are part of the larger Lau gar family of kung Fu schools dotted all over the British Isles and some international locations too. We have the Lau Gar Trust which is a registered charity number 1148347, which was set up to promote community health by practicing Chinese martial arts. We are members of the British Kung fu association (BKFA) with current DBS and liability insurance. This is in line with the BKFA policy found here: http://www.laugar-kungfu.com/bkfa-policy
Diversity / Children/young people / Adults: London Laugar instructors consider it our duty to take into account the need to safeguard and promote the welfare of children / vulnerable adults as we carry out instruction or supervision of anyone within the martial arts setting or place of practice. We believe that every person, regardless of age, disability, gender, racial heritage and belief have the right to equal protection from all types of harm or abuse. We also adhere to current law regarding fire and health and safety policies and regard everybody as worthy of respect and dignity regardless of their age, disability, gender preference, racial heritage or belief. Non-political usage statement:: We have a non-political and non-denominational (regarding religion) policy and discourage any overt displays or discussions of a religious or political nature.
